If you’ve got a question that relates to your Rakiku account, you’re in the right place. Our extensive FAQ will probably have the answer you’re looking for.


If you’ve forgotten your Rakiku account password, simply contact the Rakiku Support Team. They’ll help you get a new password. There’s no need for you to reset it manually, instead reach out to our dedicated Customer Care Team here.

Why can’t I manually change my password?


We use this approach as it provides you with the highest levels of security. The encryption method we create your password with exclusively gives you access to this account. So no one, not even the Rakiku Team, will ever have access to your password. That’s why, we automatically generate a new one for you, if you need it. Peace of mind guaranteed.

Why can’t I buy or sell Cryptocurrencies?


You won’t be able to fully use your Rakiku account or even be in a position to buy and sell bitcoin or Ethereum if your account hasn’t been verified. You can always go ahead and verify it, you can even do it here [ADD LINK]. I can’t verify my Rakiku account. What do I do?


After you register your Rakiku account, you need to verify it, which can be done in minutes. To verify your Rakiku account, simply follow these easy instructions:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on User Verification
  3. Upload one of the following documents:
    1. Passport (that’s not expired) and a Utility Bill (that’s not older than 3 months)
    2. Government issued ID Card (both the front and the back) and a Utility Bill
    3. Driving License (both the front and the back) and a Utility Bill
You’ll also need to take a selfie.
Right after you upload all of the required documents, simply hit the Verify button. It might take our team up to 24 hours to fully verify your account and get back to you, but normally, this verification process takes nothing more than a few minutes.

How do I buy bitcoin?


If you’ve verified your Rakiku account, simply click on the Buy Bitcoin to buy as much bitcoin as you want.

What exchange rate do you use in Rakiku?


We exchange your dollars or euros into bitcoin and Ethereum from the world’s leading banks. To keep the business between you and us completely transparent and trusted, we display the exchange rate we use when you’re about to buy bitcoin or Ethereum.

What are the methods of payment I can use to buy bitcoin or Ethereum?


At Rakiku, we accept all the major credit cards as well as wire transfer. Using these methods, you’ll be able to seamlessly buy and sell bitcoin or Ethereum from our secure exchange.


There are no hidden fees at Rakiku for one basic and simple reason; none of us here at Rakiku like it when we see that we’ve been charged fees that have been kept from us (hidden fees). So when it comes to us charging you, we like to stick to the exchange rates that we’ve been given by the banks we work with. We also are fully transparent, meaning that you won’t find any hidden fees or costs while buying or selling cryptos at Rakiku.

How long do I have to wait before the crypto I’ve just purchased is added into my wallet?


After you’ve purchased the cryptocurrency of choice (bitcoin or Ethereum), we’ll ensure that these cryptocurrencies are immediately transferred into your Rakiku account. In some rare cases, the transaction might take up to 5 working days, but don’t worry as your account manager will be working with you and they’ll let you know the status of where your cryptos are and also when they have reached your eWallet safely. Why does it need 5 days for my cryptos to arrive in my wallet?


Transactions for buying cryptos involve a third party such as a bank. They ask for details about each transfer and we need to get back to them in order for each transaction to be approved. Also, the KYC (Know Your Client) procedure is mandatory, and it takes some time to be finalised, especially if all the documentation we need hasn’t been provided.

What is KYC?


KYC is short for Know Your Client, and it’s a procedure that every client has to undergo when they register their Rakiku account. As part of the KYC process, you’re asked a series of questions. Don’t worry, as they’re easy questions to answer. Once they’ve been answered, our Account Opening team can activate your Rakiku account. These KYC questions are also asked whenever you or any other client wants to make an investment and purchase cryptocurrencies.

Why do I need to sign the KYC document?


It’s a requirement from our regulators, and we must adhere to what our regulator asks of us. By signing the KYC document, you are then allowed to buy a certain amount of cryptos, but each time you want to purchase bitcoin or Ethereum, you’re asked to sign the KYC document again. We know this can be a bit aggravating, but it’s necessary.

Can I cancel my order?


Cancelling your order is tricky, because you can only do it if we haven’t finalised it yet. If you’d like to cancel an order, please contact the Rakiku Customer Care Team as soon as you’ve made the order. Keep in mind that we cannot cancel your order if it’s already gone through. So, as we tell all our clients, please, please, please, go ahead and double check your order before submitting it.

  1. Login
  2. Mouse-over your username on the right-hand side of the top menu.
  3. From the drop-down menu, choose Transactions.
  4. When the Transactions page appears, find your account balance on the very left.
